Nicola's parents - Alan and Carol - have given Ivy loads of grandparent time, helping us out, and telling stories about when Nicola was small. It's been lovely to have them to stay. Safe home!

Tube ArtOne evening on the tube Nicola and I saw a couple drawing portraits of each other. They took turns scribbling in a little notebook allowing 5 minutes at a time. We thought this was kind of cute and that we should give it a go. It would pass the time, especially on the Northern Line (the Northern Line runs on Northern Line minutes: much longer than your normal minute). After several attempts ending in failure due to lack of basic equipment like pen and paper, we realised that Nicola carries her PDA about with her. Perfect.
