Heidelberg on the Neckar

Nicola and I fled to the Christmas markets in Heidelberg. We found glühwein (mit Schuss: Rum, Amaretto, Cointreau...), würstchen with sauerkraut, and postcard views of the Neckar river overlooked by the shell of the Heidelberg Schloß.

Merry Xmas

Hope you guys are having a nice Xmas over there. Here everyone is waiting for Chinese New Year, funny that, on 28/29 Jan.

Hi Xuan, yeah I run the CVS HEAD version of Drupal. Bleeding edge I guess - but I like to think I'm (ok, you're) helping to test the newest features.

Under a European winter sky,

Under a European winter sky, the town is indeed picturesque! Fleeing to Heidelberg, or from London? 35?

The combination of old houses and Christmas decorations immediately reminds me of the perfectly balanced appeal and danger of the toymaker's shop and the Child-catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. So long ago, and yet such a lasting impression!

Hope you escaped unscathed - there has not been a posting from you since then....
