The good news is that Nicola has been granted a visa allowing her to stay and work in the UK for another two years. A mass of employers' references, utility bills, tenancy agreements, and a few archived cutesy emails, managed to persuade the Home Office that we have been living together as "unmarried partners" for the last two years. We're off to Brussels for the weekend to celebrate; safe in the knowledge that we can get back in the country again.
Oh, and on the left is a photo of Grandad and granddaughter. Nigel and Melitta came down to London to meet Lula for the first time.
