My friend Flickr

You may, or may not have noticed that I have stopped hosting my own photos. Instead, I'm now making use of [?external:http://www.flickr.com Flickr]. I say"may not have noticed", because Flickr lets me interact with my photos "under the hood". If you click my [?:flickr photo galleries] link (top right), you see my photo albums. This page looks like it is part of my web site, but all the information you see here actually comes from Flickr. If you try to view a gallery you will be taken to Flickr to see the photos. I could show them in my web site, but I think the Flick slideshow is the best around. Same applies to the little thumbnail pictures on the right; straight from Flickr.

This hints at the potential of [?:node/210 web services] (REST style - for those in the know). Cool huh? If you're not blown away by that idea, perhaps you will be by Flickr itself. Try it out on [?:http://www.flickr.com/photos/atomicmaestro/sets/119633 these photos] of Nicola and me in Bath. That's Bath the city. Take a look at the slideshow: amazing.
